Creating space to talk, process, and feel heard.

Ten years ago, I left my job at Google to pursue a career that better centered around my lifelong passion for human interaction and relationships. My background in tech tailors my practice to those working in Silicon Valley, but my clients yield from all walks of life.

I approach therapy through the lens of humor, warmth, and deep empathy. I find that clients feel safest when in good company, so I often lean on and share my personal experiences and challenges with relationships, intergenerational trauma, parenting, and trusting others to witness our fragility. Modeling that vulnerability is implicit to my clients’ healing.

I value opportunities to make people laugh, which comes in handy when we are discussing difficult subject matter. I strive to create a judgment-free zone, where my clients can explore their emotions and thoughts safely. I often lean on metaphors and vivid imagery to articulate emotions, thoughts, and dynamics.

I am more directive than a typical psychotherapist. My works leans towards coaching at times, but my method is based on the latest research and most studied clinical theory, bridging deep insight with actionable feedback. I work heavily with attachment theory, with the understanding that much of who we are and how we operate today is molded by the relationships we had with our primary caregivers growing up. Many of my clients have endured troubled or chaotic childhoods, and our work together is to unpack those attachment injuries so that they can better cope with immediate stressors in the present.

As the child of immigrants, I’m motivated to see the world through the cultural perspective of all my clients, in celebration of their unique backgrounds.
